Be Heard - Virtual Listening Event

  • Virtual Anywhere Portland, OR United States (map)

What within you yearns to be heard? That longing for listening too easily lost in the noise of our world. What dances circles in your mind, asking to be unwound? What lives within your heart that desires to be free? What weighs heavy, lifts you up, brings balance, or shakes you to your core?

With all the platforms and ways to express oneself, get social, and “connected,” people today are commonly feeling lonelier and less connected. With the novel coronavirus disruption of life as usual, an opportunity to open, explore, and get curious together feels more important than ever.

Every moment of feeling heard and respected is like a precious gem amidst the chaos of our times.

Come speak the unspeakable with Amanda Rain.

WHEN:

Sunday, March 15th from 6pm - 7:30pm

WHERE:

Virtual - Anywhere you are

WHAT THIS IS:

☑️ an opportunity to be heard

☑️ a place to be vulnerable, authentic, and honest

☑️ an opportunity to express yourself without judgment

🔹 You’ll have 5-10 minutes to express yourself and be heard

YOUR FACILITATOR, AMANDA RAIN

Amanda Rain founded Speaking the Unspeakable® to inspire the courage to meet our challenges and empower our lives through effective communication. A mix of passion, training, and real-world experience has given Amanda a unique perspective on how communication can be utilized to support our personal self-growth and evolution, while simultaneously fueling our professional success.

The study of rhetoric first captured her attention while debating the collegiate circuit from 2002-2004. She learned that communication can be both effective and powerful with the right combination of simplicity, skill, and strategy. Amanda distills what is complex and challenging into clear understanding. She helps people get to the heart of what’s important and how to effectively move forward.

Amanda inspires the willingness to face our challenges, while confronting them with skill. Her voice offers hope for the spirit and medicine for the soul.
